The Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Fier has completed the investigations and is sending citizens Afrim and Ali Cimili (father and son) to trial for the criminal offense of 'Premeditated Murder' committed in collaboration and remaining in the attempted stage and 'Unauthorized Possession and Production of Weapons, Explosive Weapons and Ammunition'.

Citizens Afrim and Ali Cimili, father and son, are accused of the attempted murder of citizen Hysen Mërnica.

From the investigations into criminal proceedings no. 474, it was proven that the defendants AC and AC, due to a previous conflict between the defendant AC (son/son) and the victim HM, while driving two different vehicles, ambushed the victim HM, who was traveling in a motorcycle with his mother SM, shooting him 9 (nine) times while they were traveling in their respective vehicles.

Specifically, the defendant AC, shortly before the incident occurred, was with his father, the defendant AC. During this time, they exchanged views on the street with the victim HM and ascertained his movement itinerary.

In these circumstances, the two defendants together prepared the conditions for the commission of the criminal offense and committed it.

Defendant AC, driving a "Toyota" vehicle, fired a firearm at the victims, while the other defendant AC, driving a "Mercedes-Benz" vehicle, fired a pistol at the victims.
