In the Democratic Party, silence had reigned for a long time, followed by the refrain: analysis after the OSCE/ODIHR report on the elections, and then fame will follow! But this trick of the democratic leaders was an old scenario, seen several times in the past: “Let it pass and it will be forgotten.” How can the catastrophic result of May 14 be forgotten?! But routine is routine, right!?
At 12:00, sometimes 13:00, the party leader, Berisha, held the daily conference. Numerous questions from colleagues, contradictory answers that refuted what had been done and said before, slips of the tongue, confusion. For the future, the old refrain: “In autumn we are, the days are gone, in winter we are!” Nothing. This was the situation before the Salianji movement, a sea without a single wave, because waves are unimaginable. And all this in the opposition, where nothing should stop 24/7! Suddenly, something changed. Chairman Berisha also met with secondary allies, something rare after the elections!
Ervin Salianji, Ilir Alimehmeti, Aulon Kalaja, etc., are the new generation in the Democratic Party. They have not received anything from it. Salianji has received what is unimaginable: the removal of freedom. To understand how serious and necessary this movement is, it is enough to see the reaction of the leader of the DP: first he neglected it, then he attacked it, and then he will fight it! It is a typical scheme of Mr. Berisha's DNA and very readable by the opponent. But Ervin Salianji's DNA must be Democratic Action for Construction.
From December 2025, the foundation for 2027 and beyond should begin. What is not working so far with this movement is the camouflage of the final goal: Berisha's departure from the DP. The latter has understood this and, for secondary figures of the movement, can offer positions to weaken him, but he has difficulty with the main ones.
And yet Berisha is no longer the same person who has always managed to appease his opponents in the party, and in the opposition the political allure is very low. Therefore, he is destined to wage war, something seen many times in the past. With ideas and a platform, this is what the public and voters want to see differently, even in the Salianji group, and above all without political bargaining!
