Security expert Fatjon Softa has reacted to the viral video of two teenage girls raping a peer in Fier, while another filmed the incident. According to Softa, this is a very serious incident that has shocked public opinion and requires a full investigation by the authorities.
Softa said about the show 'News24 Weekend' by journalist Megi Latifi that several links are responsible. He also touched on the allegations that a police officer may have been involved in the incident, emphasizing that if this is confirmed, the responsibility is even greater.
"It is worrying when within the structures of the State Police there are individuals who disgrace the uniform. Allegations have been raised that the police officer has been trapped, but it is the duty of the State Police to conduct full investigations to shed light on the entire incident and bring those responsible to justice," said Softa.
The expert emphasized that such cases are becoming increasingly frequent, as many young people seek fame and attention on social networks by publishing acts of violence.
"Violence has become a form of provocation and, unfortunately, a trend to show dominance within the social circle. This is related to age, family upbringing, neglect, but also to the dysfunction of state structures, such as schools and the police," he said.
Softa added that the treatment of minors in such cases must respect legal and psychological standards. "It is very serious if the interrogation of minors is not carried out in the presence of a psychologist, as these are children who need professional support throughout the process," the security expert concluded.
