A road accident was recorded on the second kilometer of the Lezhë-Milot highway, involving three vehicles, a car, an SUV and a van, causing temporary traffic restrictions.

According to preliminary information, two of the drivers were transported to the hospital for medical assistance and are out of danger. One of the drivers was tested at the scene and it turned out that he was not under the influence of alcohol.

It is initially suspected that the cause of the accident was a wrong overtaking by one of the vehicles involved. The traffic police are at the scene and have launched investigations to fully clarify the circumstances, while work is also underway to normalize vehicle traffic.
