The Appeal Court of Kosovo has rejected the request of Argita and Jamarbër Malltezi to lift the seizure of assets. In this way, the Appeal Court of Kosovo has left the decision of the Appeal Court in force.

"The Special Court of Appeal for Corruption and Organized Crime, with a monocratic panel composed of Judge Engert Pëllumbi, today on 16.01.2026, announced the decision on criminal case no. 13, date 07.01.2026 registration, registered upon the appeal of appellants AM and JM, with the subject: “Appeal against decision no. 662 act, dated 27.10.2025 of the Special Court of First Instance for Corruption and Organized Crime, on the lifting of preventive seizure”, and decided: Approval of decision no. 662 Act, dated 27.10.2025 of the Special Court of First Instance for Corruption and Organized Crime", the official announcement states.

The assets were seized as part of the investigations into the "Partizani" affair.
