The police operation codenamed "Vila", conducted after several months of investigations using proactive methods, has led to the arrest of a 57-year-old man, suspected of being an accomplice in the cultivation and production of narcotics in the Temal area, in Vau i Dejës.
As part of the operation, the services of the Vau i Dejës Police Commissariat identified and detained citizen NN, 57 years old, resident of Shkodër.
The investigation suspects that the 57-year-old is involved in collaboration in the cultivation and production of 24 kilograms and 240 grams of the suspected narcotic substance Cannabis Sativa, as well as in the cultivation of 78 plants of this narcotic substance.
The narcotics and plants were found and seized by the Police on October 12, 2026, in the village of Vila, in the Temal administrative unit.
The operation took place after a several-month investigation, under the direction of the Shkodra Prosecution Office, while investigations continue to fully document the suspected criminal activity and identify other persons involved.
The procedural materials have been referred to the Shkodra Prosecution Office for the criminal offenses "Production and sale of narcotics" and "Cultivation of narcotic plants", committed in collaboration.

Suspected as an accomplice in the cultivation and production of 24 kg and 240 grams of Cannabis Sativa and 78 Cannabis Sativa plants, the 57-year-old man is identified by the investigation and placed in custody.
The services of the Vau i Dejës Police Commissariat, after several months of intensive investigative work, carried out with special methods, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Shkodra, finalized the operation codenamed "Vila".
As a result of this operation, citizen NN, 57 years old, resident of Shkodra, was identified and detained.
From the investigations, it is suspected that this citizen is an accomplice in the cultivation and production of 24 kg and 240 grams of the suspected narcotic substance Cannabis Sativa and in the cultivation of 78 suspected narcotic plants Cannabis Sativa, which were found and seized by the Police services, on 12.10.2026, in the village of Vila, Temal administrative unit.
Investigations are ongoing to fully document this criminal activity and identify other citizens involved.
