Despite the high temperatures of August and the holiday season, mass protests in Tirana have not stopped. Today's rally marked the largest protest held during the month of August, while 76 days of revolt have passed.
Many Albanians from the diaspora have also arrived at the square, who have traveled from the places where they live and work outside Albania to join the protest and demand the resignation of Prime Minister Edi Rama.
Participants have expressed their determination not to retreat from their cause, demanding political change and a new political class.
The protesters' message is for a system that, according to them, is more transparent and free from corruption.
It seems that neither the high temperatures nor the summer holidays are an obstacle for the protesters. They have declared that they will continue their stay in the square until their demands are met.
