The intervention of the Kavaja Police and Rrogozhina Police services has prevented the escalation of a violent conflict with firearms, avoiding a potential tragedy in the Spille area.

After receiving information on operational channels that a violent fight was taking place in Spille, police officers quickly organized and intervened at the scene. As a result of coordinated actions, it was possible to catch citizen EH, 31 years old, in the act.

At the time of the intervention of the law enforcement forces, the 31-year-old was holding a "Kalashnikov" type firearm with combat ammunition. Initial investigations show that he had had a conflict with the citizen IR, 38 years old, and intended to kill him with the gun.

As material evidence, the police seized the Kalashnikov firearm along with the corresponding ammunition.

Also, following the investigative actions, citizen IR, 38 years old, was also proceeded with at large for the criminal offense of "Other intentional damage". The verifications revealed that during the collision, he had punched citizen NH, causing him minor bodily injuries.

The procedural materials were passed on to the Prosecutor's Office for further investigative actions.
