Journalist Artan Hoxha has accused former Deputy Prime Minister and former Minister of Energy Belinda Balluku of interfering with the Delvina Gas company.
Hoxha said that what makes the story particularly serious is the fact that, according to him, Balluku had not left the action to other state structures, but had personally gone to the company's premises.

'It was Belinda Balluku herself, with the director of the district police, with the director of the criminal police, with the chief of the police station, with the chief of the IKMT,' declared Hoxha.

The journalist said that the intervention occurred at a time when Delvina Gas was on the verge of starting its activity, after having made significant investments in infrastructure related to gas processing and exploitation.

Hoxha said that it was later understood why Balluku had intervened, because Delvina Gasin was looking for Roni Yeffet and Balluku's people.

'Why are we following this story? Because Delvina Gas, or more precisely the Delvina gas field, is a national asset and it is a mind that has to do with national security. And the best thing is, that business there and that refinery there has been blocked from working by the Ministry of Energy, as you saw there.
And the Prime Minister of Albania has signed another contract that obliges Albania to import 6 billion dollars of liquefied gas that a Greek company will bring us from the United States of America, it will bring us to Vlora. It will bring us gas, but where we will take it is the whole problem because Albania does not have gas use installations. But this is another story, if you want, we will explain it later. Now let's go back to what happened with Delvina Gas.

At the moment that the Albanian shareholder, therefore, took 90% of the entire company, made the investment, built the refinery, there are several refineries there that use processes for filtering, for packaging, for transporting gas. At the moment that it was ready and about to start exploitation, suddenly appear, comes on July 29, a news that was distributed in the media.
And the news was: The Police, the Ministry of Energy, the National Inspectorate of Territorial Protection and the Environmental Inspectorate, in cooperation with the Vlora Police Directorate, the Saranda Police Station, the Delvina Police Station, have discovered an illegal TEC. A 100 million dollar TEC without a permit. And this news was given to the media and the media served it.
And the businessman was declared wanted, the administrator and a couple of engineers who were American citizens were arrested. Engineers of the company. Meanwhile, the company is registered in the Virgin Islands.

And what happens? At the door of the company, that is, at Delvina Gas, he is the one who says you are going to Vlora and there was Belinda Balluku with her hand, with the director of the district police, with the director of the criminal police, with the chief of the police station, with the head of the IKMT, with Dallëndyshe Bici.
I don't know if the minister was there, I'm not sure, I haven't been able to verify, or if Mrs. Kumbaro was there. They went to all the possible inspectorates and put a seal on a refinery in Albania.

And they released the news that we had seized an illegal refinery being built in Delvina Gas. And they declared the main shareholder wanted. From that moment on, the shareholder had no choice, because it wasn't that they were asking him to give a bribe for the investment he had made, they were trying to take it from him.

They took it from him! And that's why he was put under all this pressure, so that he would surrender and run away. In parallel with this, what did they do to him? SPAK started an investigation and put this businessman in the Fier incinerator together with Arben Ahmetaj.

And he says you helped Arben Ahmetaj… that he is accused there of money laundering. It is something that you Ahmetaj… but every Albanian knows that Ahmetaj is not in the incinerator section, that there is nothing more to say to him there. And what happens? In parallel with the actions that were taken by blocking the refinery, if I am not mistaken I will give the exact date, yes, on March 18 of this year in an official announcement SPAK says: the case of Arben Ahmetaj is sent for trial and is included as a defendant, the owner of Delvina Gas is taken as a defendant.
Now what is this person obliged to do and how did he block his way there… so this announcement was made on March 18. It became clear there that Delvina Gas had no one to hold her. What happens on March 26? The American ambassador who is in Albania, in charge of business, and the Dutch ambassador appear in the same room at the entrance of Delvina Gas.
They are coming in support of Delvina Gas. Look, SPAK was announced that… these two appear there. And they appeared there to say not to proceed further. At these moments, the shareholder has tried to take other actions, a Dutch company has already emerged, there are a couple of American citizens involved in this story, just so that his property is not robbed.

So, all the actions that Ron Yeffet had to take were done through Mrs. Balluku. And what happened? On July 29 of last year, Mrs. Balluku gave an interview right at the entrance to the refinery. An interview that has never been published.
I don't know why it wasn't published, they had a film crew with them, it was caught on camera in the facility where she gave an interview in front of her. Because she did it, so the minister went herself, she didn't let the Minister of the Interior do that job, nor the police director, she went herself. And this whole story, you don't understand what they're looking for?

So, they asked the shareholder at that time: listen, sir, did they ask you for money? Did you offer? Until you offered? And he made it clear to us that despite my efforts, it's not a question of money, they want the facility. And he had gone all the way to the Prime Minister. And what had the Prime Minister said to him? I don't interfere in this matter.
I can't interrupt Mrs. Balluku. So, do you understand clearly who it was? When she started asking, who are the Ukrainians? And it turned out that they were the Ukrainians connected to Ron Yeffet. And there it was understood that now when we say gas field, it is today predicted to have over 2.5 billion dollars of gas reserves below and it is very high quality gas.
It is gas, of extremely high quality, of very high power. And this has made that field there so tempting, the profit there is super big, but they want to take it away by using the power of power and by revealing it.', Hoxha said, among other things.
