TIRANA-Journalist Artan Hoxha invited to the show "This Week" on News24 stated that the Belinda Balluku issue involves a large group of interests and that Prime Minister Edi Rama knows this fact very well and is trying to provide guarantees to 'this group'.
He also commented on the exclusion of two journalists from the conference, saying that it was "the biggest mistake that exposed his situation is precisely the action he took against our colleagues. He has repeated it with Ambrozia Meta."
"When we talk about Balluku, he is not alone, Balluku is a large interest group, a great potential that Rama will entice to give him guarantees and assurances that even if Balluku leaves, I am still here. After Balluku became very powerful and his power stemmed from the entire interest group he gathered. Balluku is 1/8 of the iceberg, while 7/8 are below. Rama is trying to calm the 7/8 and give them guarantees that they will continue the same and will now have to deal directly with the commander. The biggest mistake that exposed his situation is precisely the action he has taken against our colleagues. He has repeated it with Ambrozia Meta. The problem is that Ambrozia is not supported by his colleagues and this comes because he comes from an opposition media and this is wrong. If we do not act in unison, they will tear us to pieces and by leaving him alone, he has been penalized by the Prime Minister's positions. Even one of our colleagues at News has been penalized. The Prime Minister was not only irritated but "retaliate by blackmailing the media where Ambrozia works, giving courage to all those who attack the media," said Hoxha.
