The DP has reacted to information from the State Police that 12 officers were injured during the opposition's national protest. Through a statement, the DP says that such claims are fraudulent and baseless.

Also, the DP announces that from their information, collected operationally in all hospitals in the capital, no police officer has presented himself for first aid.

On the other hand, the blue headquarters reports that there are dozens of injured protesters and dozens more arrested, illegally by government patrons, people without uniforms and without police symbols.

statement
The Democratic Party considers the claims of the drug police spokespersons that 12 police officers were injured to be false and unfounded. According to our information collected operationally in all hospitals in the capital, not a single police officer has presented himself for first aid. The attempt to color a massive protest against the drug regime with violence is nothing more than the fear of Rama and his servants that political developments in Albania have reached the 'last mile'.

The Democratic Party emphasizes that, not only are there no injured police officers, but there are dozens of injured protesters and dozens more arrested, often illegally by government patrons, people without uniforms and without police symbols. Any violation of the law will be noted and any abuser will be held fully accountable.

The Democratic Party thanks once again all supporters and protesters, and assures the detainees and their families that they will receive every legal aid and support. This is the beginning of the end for the narco-regime and the narco-police. The fury demonstrated tonight with the use of poisonous gases and disproportionate violence is proof of this.
