Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky's statements about Kosovo have also caused strong reactions in Tirana.
During his visit to Serbia, Zelensky confirmed that Ukraine's position on Kosovo's independence has not changed and that Kiev does not recognize its independence. In protest against this position, a group of citizens protesting in Tirana have marched towards the Ukrainian embassy.
In front of the embassy, protesters have expressed their revolt against the Ukrainian president, while direct calls against him have also been heard.
"Zelensky, Zelensky, fuck you!" the protesters chanted.
The reaction comes at a time when Ukraine's stance on Kosovo has sparked heated debate in the region, especially after Zelensky's meeting with Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić in Belgrade. Following the visit, a large Ukrainian flag was also removed from a building in Pristina, in a sign of dissatisfaction with Kiev's stance.
Protesters in Tirana have turned the Kosovo issue into another point of their protest, publicly opposing the Ukrainian president's stance.
