Invited to the studio of "News24", Klevis Balliu spoke about the visit of DP leader Sali Berisha to the US, the protest, as well as current developments in the country.
Part of the delegation that will go to the US to accompany the leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, will also be Klevis Balliu himself.
During the interview, Balliu said that it was an injustice that was done to DP leader Sali Berisha, while he described it as a victory not only for Berisha, but for the entire society, since the non grata decision struck pluralism in Albania.
Berisha's visit confirms his purity in opposition action and the battle for Albania.
"The truth finally came to light, it was an injustice that was done to pluralism in Albania, the blow that was dealt to the opposition through the attack on the main pillar and the strongest denunciatory voice that was Sali Berisha, to tarnish its fight against evil and the extreme left. It was the extreme left that financed ugly lobbies to deal a strong blow to the country's pluralism through the attack on Berisha. In this respect, it is a victory not only for Berisha, but for the entire society," he said.
Asked about the calls for the "Berisha in prison" protest, he stressed that according to him there are different currents in the protests, however, he underlined that according to him "there are 20 people making such calls and that these do not represent all Albanians."
"It is not correct to put 20 people who say Berisha is in prison and say Albanians do not want him. At that protest there are 20 people who make this call, the rest are with the government. There are many currents in that protest. There are also currents that do not want the DP, without small parties that attack the DP to benefit their own game, but you cannot say all Albanians because 20 people cannot speak for all Albanians," he said.
