From today until Sunday, August 16, Korça returns to the center of celebration, music, and tradition with the launch of the Beer Festival, one of the most beloved events of the Albanian summer.
This year marks a special anniversary for the festival, 20 years since its first organization. Two decades of music, emotions, festive atmosphere and moments that have now become an inseparable tradition of the city.
At the center of this story is Korça Beer, the first Albanian beer, which inspired and became the founder of this celebration. It has become a symbol of the city and one of the most identifying elements of the annual event.
For 5 days, Korça is expected to welcome thousands of visitors, Albanians and foreigners, who will enjoy the music, the festive atmosphere, the tradition and, of course, the taste and freshness of Birra Korça.
The journalist of News24, Lorena Kodra, reported that Birra Korça will have the main space at the festival, being one of the focal points of the activity. Another attraction not to be missed is the Korça Beer House, where visitors can enjoy beer to the fullest.
The first night will start with energy and festive rhythms, with performances by renowned artists Luiz Ejlli and Eranda Libohova.
In this edition, entry to the festival will be free, while a special space has been created for those who wish to have a reserved table.
The Beer Festival in Korça thus comes as a combination of music, tradition and culture of the city, preserving a history that now counts two decades.
