The head of the Democratic Party Parliamentary Group, Gazment Bardhi, has issued strong accusations against the executive immediately after the meeting of the Conference of Speakers, describing the government's behavior as a serious and direct violation of the independence of the judicial system. Bardhi denounced the fact that the Council of Ministers has knowingly avoided the constitutional obligation to propose the draft law on magistrates' salaries, fabricating a political maneuver that is leading the justice system towards a complete collapse.

Bardhi exposed the frauds of Prime Minister Edi Rama, explaining that the management of budgetary funds and legal proposals affecting the state budget in relation to the judicial branch are the exclusive responsibility of the Council of Ministers. He underlined that the initiative filed by the two socialist deputies not only contradicts the binding decision of the Constitutional Court, but also proves the inability of the majority to calculate budgets and implement the Constitution.

"We have heard something untrue from the Prime Minister throughout these days. Today, as we speak, the Council of Ministers has not exercised its obligation to propose a draft law on the salaries of magistrates. It is not the duty of deputies to propose issues that affect the state budget. The law proposed by the two socialist deputies is contrary to the decision of the Constitutional Court, as they have neither the ability to calculate salaries nor the capacity to interpret the decision. This irresponsibility is putting the courts and the administration in complete paralysis," declared Bardhi.
