An Albanian living in Belgium, part of the diaspora who joined the protest in Tirana, declared that Prime Minister Edi Rama should leave power.
"I want to express my opinion as someone who lives abroad. Rama should not be in power. You may ask why I am getting so involved. If the economy were at the right level, the hospitals would be specialized, most of the diaspora would be here today," she said.
According to her, after 12 years in power, Rama should leave, as his stay at the head of the government will cause further damage to Albania.
"Rama has been in power for 12 years. He must leave, as he will cause even more damage. If we leave him for these next three years, he will have sold out all of Albania," the protester declared.
She said that the protest has also received echoes abroad.
"This protest is echoing in all media. Rama in prison, Berisha in prison," she concluded.
