Guest on the show "This Week" on News24 with Nisida Tufa, socialist MP Erion Braçe spoke about his ambition to run for the Municipality of Tirana, but also about political developments in the country.

Braçe also focused on a number of problems facing Tirana, explaining the reasons that led him to announce his candidacy for the leadership of the capital.

During the interview, he emphasized that he wanted it to be a process that should absorb all the energy of the socialists of Tirana.

"What good is it for me to test the Prime Minister's nerves? We have an open debate on the Agricultural VAT, but no, it has nothing to do with this. I am convinced of what I said, I have thought about it very well and for a long time. After the elections last year and after the months that it was evident, or is it still evident that Tirana is neither being governed nor self-governing, and at the moment that Tirana is not being governed, there is a big problem.

I am faced every day, with different units, and in different segments, or different infrastructures. While my people and friends ask me if I am serious, and I am very serious in relation to people. What I have asked for is not a qokë, or to appoint or announce me as a candidate for the Municipality of Tirana. What I have asked for is not a qokë, or to appoint or announce me as a candidate for the Municipality of Tirana. Because I have asked for a process that I think should absorb all the energy of the socialists of Tirana and anyone else", he said.
