Tensions have been noted after the end of political speeches at the Democratic Party protest in front of the Prime Minister's Office on Tirana's main boulevard.

After the speeches ended, the situation escalated, as police intervened using force to disperse the crowd. According to reports from the field, some protesters were beaten and detained by the officers.

Meanwhile, organizers have reportedly called for protesters to move to the Parliament premises, where the rally is expected to continue.

Despite police intervention, some protesters and several Democratic Party MPs continue to remain on the boulevard.

It is also learned that the Secretary General of the Democratic Party, Flamur Noka, was injured as a result of the use of tear gas during the clash with the police.

The situation remains tense, while it remains to be seen whether the protest will move towards the Parliament and how further developments will evolve.
