The State Police announces that it has revoked the licenses of two entities, ShPSF "Myrto Security 1.3A" and ShPSF "Major Security", following the violence exerted against residents during the Zvërnec protest.

"Administrative investigations are continuing intensively by the Directorate of Professional Standards and the Department of Public Safety, at the General Directorate of the State Police, for a full investigation aimed at establishing responsibilities regarding the actions and inactions during the rally held on 30.05.2026, in Portonovë, Zvërnec, as well as for the legality of private entities for physical security that have been contracted by the owner, for the preservation and physical security of the property in Portonovë, Zvërnec," the Police statement states.

"The entity ShPSF "Myrto Security 1.3A" had not taken measures for the security of the facility and had not implemented the rules for the regime of entry and exit of persons and vehicles into the facility. This entity did not administer the list of persons and vehicles that were allowed to enter the facility. Due to the failure to meet these criteria, on 30.05.2026, unidentified persons and unknown to the service personnel were allowed to enter the perimeter.

These persons, during the rally, have intervened without having any legal attributes and have hit and forcibly pulled a citizen participating in the protest, causing bodily injuries. They have also reacted against the protesters with stones and other objects from the property fence. Against these citizens who committed violent acts, the employees of ShPSF “Myrto Security 1.3A” have not performed any preventive action or for their removal”, the reaction continues.

Following the administrative actions carried out by the Department of Public Security, to assess the implementation of legal responsibilities by the entities ShPSF "Myrto Security 1.3A" and ShPSF "Major Security", it resulted that both entities were found to have committed violations, specifically:

The entity ShPSF “Myrto Security 1.3A” had not taken measures for the security of the facility and had not implemented the rules for the regime of entry and exit of persons and vehicles into the facility. Meanwhile, the licensed employee of the entity ShPSF "Major Security", together with two other persons, who were criminally prosecuted, and verifications showed that the two persons prosecuted were not registered or licensed by the entity SHPSF "Major Security", committed arbitrary actions by abusing their duties and exceeding their powers, after punching one of the protesters, forcibly taking him and taking him inside the fence, causing him bodily harm.

At the conclusion of the administrative investigations, for the violations found in both entities, ShPSF "Myrto Security 1.3A" and ShPSF "Major Security", referring to the law "On private physical security services", by decision of the General Director of the State Police, the licenses of both entities to exercise this activity were revoked.
