The Technical Working Group at the European Council has approved the draft IBAR report, without any objections from member states.
The news is announced for News24 and BalkanWeb by a European Council spokesperson.
At this Thursday's meeting, COELA reached an agreement on IBAR and the file will go to the EU Ambassadors, a grouping known as COREPER, for approval tomorrow.
If everything goes according to plan, the Albania-European Union Intergovernmental Conference will convene on May 26th.
An official confirmation will only be known after the COREPER meeting on Friday.
