Sergio Conceiçao has no intention of leaving his time at Milan behind in silence. The Portuguese coach has once again come out with strong criticism of the way the club was run during his time at the club.
“I stayed at Milan for six months, during which time things… I wouldn’t say they went brilliantly, but we managed to win a Super Cup and reach the final of the Italian Cup. Amorim said a while ago that Milan have only won two championships in twenty years, and that’s true. One of the last two cups is mine.”
"Then it became clear that the coach was not the only problem. Of course, I had my share of blame and I don't want to hide from responsibility, but it was clear that Allegri and the management failed."
"I send him a hug and wish him luck on this new journey, which is not easy at all, especially because of the atmosphere that surrounds the club. There is a lot of pressure: people there think they have to win the Champions League and the championship every year."
