UEFA has opened an urgent investigation into the Champions League semi-final second leg between FC Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain, following strong controversy over the refereeing.
According to media reports, immediately after the meeting ended, an anonymous senior official contacted the office of UEFA president Aleksander Čeferin, demanding the launch of an immediate investigation.
The cause was three questionable decisions by referee João Pinheiro, which are said to have harmed Bayern Munich during the match.
Pinheiro is also understood to have contacted PSG President Al Khelaifi before the start of the meeting in Munich.
Let's wait and see how things go in the coming days.
