Prime Minister Edi Rama has reacted after numerous criticisms on social networks regarding his recent statements on Serbia and Kosovo, responding harshly to his opponents in Pristina.
Rama said he considers "the army of Pristina's nationalist turbofolk trolls" as a kind of laboratory to measure the accuracy of his positions when talking about Serbia.
According to the Prime Minister, whenever these groups react with criticism towards him, he sees this as an indication that he has fulfilled his duty in relation to Albania, Kosovo and regional cooperation.
Referring to the reactions after his statement that "Serbia lost Kosovo", Rama said that the recent criticism has reconfirmed his position. He argued that this statement was part of his intervention in the debate between Albanian and Serbian authorities on the Ibar River issue.
Rama also stressed that his stance on what he described as Serbia's provocation was clear and that his intervention was also welcomed by British MP Alicia Kearns, known for her stances in support of Kosovo.
"That Serbia lost Kosovo is simply a fact," Rama wrote, adding that this statement is unpleasant for both nationalists in Belgrade and those in Pristina.

Every time that army is unleashed on social media to vent its blind hatred towards me, I consider my duty as prime minister of this country, both towards Albania, Kosovo and regional peace and cooperation, to have been successfully completed.
Yesterday, the laboratory functioned perfectly, with trolls unleashed to reconfirm me as a traitor because I said Serbia lost Kosovo, during my intervention in the dignified debate of recent days between our authorities and those of Serbia, regarding the inviolability of the Ibar River.
So my stance was precise, as long as in all that exhaustive intervention – which was even welcomed by British MP Alicia Cairns, an ardent flag-bearer for Kosovo in the United Kingdom – the nationalist turbofolk base in Pristina found a single sentence to cling to in order to prevent that clear stance against Serbia's provocation from "confusing" turbofolk fans.
That Serbia lost Kosovo is simply a fact, as burning for the nationalist turbofolk in Belgrade, as annoying for the nationalist turbofolk in Pristina, and their reunification yesterday in pathetic opposition to me, is simply another compliment to the diplomacy of Albania, of Balkan Europe.
