President Osmani will begin consultations with political party representatives today at 13:00 PM to set the election date.
This was confirmed by Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty sources from the Presidency.
According to the Law, early elections must be held within 45 days, but not earlier than 30 days.
Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani said that on Friday she issued a decree to dissolve the Parliament, since, according to her, the country's representatives "decided to take the country to elections."
"Through this decree, I am fulfilling my constitutional obligation, which is clearly defined... It is a great misfortune that they [the deputies] did not choose the interest of Kosovo," Osmani said.
