France- Five people have been arrested in connection with the kidnapping of a judge and her mother. The women were held hostage for about 30 hours, and the alleged perpetrators demanded a ransom in cryptocurrency.
Foreign media reports that four men and one woman have been taken into custody.
The arrests came after the justice official, 35, and her 67-year-old mother were located, who were found injured in a garage in the southeastern Droma region.
Meanwhile, authorities continued their search for other possible people involved in the incident.
