Journalist Ervin Dushi has reported that he was raped this evening around 20:00 PM by several people in Shkodra.
According to his statements, the perpetrator of the violence was citizen Prel Gjoni, along with several other people who were with him. Gjoni is known as the owner of the Xhedis supermarket chain.
Dushi claims that the incident is related to a complaint he made some time ago in support of a market employee, who had a dispute with the company owner.
After the incident, the journalist filed a report with the Shkodra Police and stated that he will pursue the matter through institutional channels.
"I will continue to pursue the matter through the institutions," he is reported to have stated after reporting it to the police.

Citizen ED, a journalist, appeared at the Shkodra Police Station, reporting that at around 20:00 PM, he was punched by several citizens in the "Skënderbeg" neighborhood, in front of the "Xhedis" supermarket.
Immediately after receiving the notification, the Police services carried out the first procedural actions and identified one of the persons, citizen P. Gj., while work is underway to identify other persons involved in this conflict and escort them to the Shkodra Police Station.
The investigative group, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, continues its actions to fully clarify the circumstances of the event and its legal documentation.
