France failed to secure a third consecutive World Cup final, losing the opportunity to fight for the trophy again, but also a staggering prize money that had been set aside by one of its main sponsors.

Many sponsors often place such clauses to secure the signature in the contract, and sportswear sponsors are the most interested in doing so because the success of a team normally affects the sales of its sports equipment.

For this reason, the company "Nike" had set a staggering bonus for France, setting a clause that guaranteed the "roosters" 3 million euros if they made the trophy theirs. France would benefit from 1 million euros even if they lost the final, but now they will not secure any of these bonuses.

It is learned that "Nike" has not planned any reward in the contract between the parties for participating in or winning the "losers' final".
