A summer bar burned down overnight in the coastal area of Kuna in Shëngjin, completely burning down. The incident occurred at around 4:00 a.m. today and firefighters were unable to prevent the fire from burning completely as it happened in just a few minutes.
The police have immediately launched investigations into this incident, but without specifying whether it was intentional arson or not. The building is owned by citizen Gëzim Çuni, but according to confidential sources, this summer house has been used continuously by the Judicial Police Officer in Lezha SC, who according to this information is a close friend of the owner who has the papers for this building.
The first suspicions are of deliberate arson and the way this building was built on the seashore is the main suspicion on which the investigations are focused, but without ruling out arson due to the duty of the OPGJ at the Lezha Prosecutor's Office.
The police who immediately arrived at the scene were cautious in their statement, providing only information about the fire and no further details or suspicions about the causes of this fire. The de jure owner and two other people have been questioned about the fire at this summer restaurant in Kune, Shëngjin, but have not yet specified what it is about.
