On May 9-10, 2026, in Tirana, the Albanian Billiards and Snooker Federation organized the National Billiards Championship, 8-Gurë discipline. In the final of the 2026 National Individual Billiards Championship, in the 8-Gurë discipline, Besar Spahiu and Ernesto Gjoni faced each other. Besar Spahiu, a billiard player from the Tirana team, was declared the champion of this edition, who triumphed by lifting the national champion trophy. Ernesto Gjoni, a representative of the Lezhë Alliance, came in second place.

Third place was shared between Ermal Dyl from Durrës and Julian Xhafë, from Apolonia, Fier.

The award ceremony was attended by the President of the Albanian Billiards & Snooker Federation, Mr. Edmond Loku, the coach of KS Tirana, Mr. Ylli Gordani, as well as Prof. Roland Panozaqi, who presented the cup to the champion Besar Spahiu.
