The Fier Prosecutor's Office has sent a citizen to trial for the criminal offense of "Pornography".
At the end of the investigation, it turned out that this citizen had a total of 111 photo and video materials with sexually abusive content with minors on various social media platforms such as "Mobile Streaming, Tik Tok, Pinterest.com" on the internet.
At the request of the prosecution, the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Fier approved the personal and home search of the suspected perpetrator, as well as the seizure of the mobile devices "Smartphone", along with the right to access and inspect the data on this electronic device for the purpose of the criminal offense "Pornography".

The Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Fier completed the investigations and sent citizen IM for trial for the criminal offense of "Pornography", provided for by the second paragraph of Article 117 of the Criminal Code.
At the conclusion of the investigations into criminal proceedings No. 1433 of 2025, registered based on the referral of the General Directorate of the State Police, Directorate of Investigation of Cybercrimes, it was evidenced that the defendant IM had on various social media platforms such as "Mobile Streaming, Tik Tok, Pinterest.com" a total of 111 photo and video materials with sexually abusive content with minors on the internet.
At the request of the prosecution, the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Fier approved the personal and home search of the suspected perpetrator, as well as the seizure of the mobile devices "Smartphone", along with the right to access and inspect the data on this electronic device for the purpose of the criminal offense "Pornography", provided for by the second paragraph of Article 117 of the Criminal Code.
From the technical-computer expertise on the two "Smartphone" mobile devices seized from the defendant's personal control, a considerable number of photos and videos with sexually abusive content with minors on the internet, with children presumed to be 10-12 years old, were discovered.
The investigation also revealed that these pornographic materials with minors had different sources from which they were stored in the memory of electronic devices, specifically from "Chat" communications installed on the phone, from the user's navigation on the Internet and images captured directly from the mobile phone screen. In total, 30 videos and 125 images with pornographic content with minors were found, which were mainly downloaded from the "Telegram" application.
In addition, the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Fier expresses its full commitment to investigating and holding legally accountable persons who commit criminal offenses that affect the physical, psychological integrity and well-being of children, in any mechanism of committing and distributing abusive acts against children.
