"Justice is first and foremost a service to the citizen and to public trust."

This was stated during an event for Justice Day by the head of the Fier Court, Noel Veizi, who said that the justice system has started on the right path, but there is still room for improvement.

From the lack of halls for holding court sessions to the lack of offices for judges and the backlog of files, the head of the Fier Court listed some of the problems they encounter during their work.

According to him, any delay in handling issues translates into a decrease in trust among citizens.

Deputy High Inspector of Justice, Elena Peleshi, said that by guaranteeing the rights of every individual, justice contributes to having a just and balanced society.

Among other things, representatives of the Fier Court and the guests emphasized the cooperation between the Police, the Prosecution and the Court, to increase the effectiveness of justice at a time when the judicial power seeks to improve itself to approach European standards. Participants in this Justice Day activity were also high school graduates from Fier high schools.
