New details have been revealed regarding Prime Minister Rama's meeting with citizens in Berat, which was accompanied by numerous tensions and clashes during discussions on the Territorial Reform. The meeting was also attended by a representation of citizens from Poliçan, where during the speech given by Minister Ervin Demo they stood up to discuss, while it is learned that the Prime Minister interrupted their speech in harsh tones. The Prime Minister's intervention caused irritation among the residents of Poliçan and Mayor Adriatik Zotkaj, who argued fiercely among themselves.

"Since the Territorial Reform was decided, depopulation has begun in Policab, every day we receive requests for relocation. If the Prime Minister continues with arrogance, we will go to the Parliament and join the big protest in Tirana", said one of the councilors.

The debate with the Prime Minister also included the actress originally from Poliçan, Egla Ceno, who shares details from the meeting.

"We were a group of representatives from Poliçan in Berat for the Territorial Reform. Poliçan is a city that has often expressed its opinion through its citizens. At the meeting, Minister Demo opened the meeting and gave the floor to the citizens, two of them spoke. When we asked for the microphone, the prime minister intervened and said we are not here to understand how well people live in Poliçan, and he began a speech that lasted for an unknown amount of time. No one was allowed to speak. After about 20 minutes, when he finished, I asked him if they could talk and he told me to go outside. I replied that I could go out, but we were called out because we were told that the prime minister would listen to us. I refused to be addressed like that, but he stood up and said that the meeting would be suspended until I left the hall. At this moment, the community joined me and we all went outside," she said.

After clashes with Rama and Dema, the delegation from Poliçan, along with Mayor Zotkaj, left the hall, while this is not the first time that the latter has opposed the dissolution of the institution he has led since 2003.
