Lamine Yamal closed a fantastic season, both personally and with Barcelona, where they managed to win 3 trophies, La Liga, the King's Cup and the Spanish Super Cup. The Blaugrana talent also renewed his current contract with Barça until 2031. In an interview with Cadena Ser, Yamal touched on many issues, starting with the discussion that has been taking place recently regarding the favorites to win the "Ballon d'Or":
"I just go out on the pitch, play and have fun, then whatever happens, happens. Do you have a choice between the World Cup and the Champions League? I don't want to choose, I'm going to play in both, so I want to win both," Yamal said.
The Barcelona striker then paused for a brief comment regarding Champions League winners PSG: "They deserved it after having a fantastic season. I think if that final was played again it wouldn't have ended 5-0," Yamal emphasized, then choosing who he sees as the favorite, for some personal awards:
"I think I would vote for Luis Enrique for best coach, Donnarumma for best goalkeeper, and Dembele for player of the year." Yamal said, among other things, in his interview with Cadena Ser.
