Marash Kumbulla will not stay at Mallorca after the end of his loan. According to reports in Spanish and Italian media, Mallorca's leaders have decided not to activate the option to buy the Albanian defender from Roma, ending his period on the island after just one season.
The decision is due to the fact that Kumbulla has played in only 8 matches, amid injuries and far from physical form. Kumbulla joined Mallorca in the summer of 2025 on loan from Roma, with an option to buy ranging around 8 million euros.
