A woman entered the premises of the first instance court in Vlora to attend a court session, but the moment she passed through the scanner, a signal was given for the presence of a metal object.

The woman attempted to leave the scanner to go to court but was stopped by court security who immediately notified the police. After the officers arrived, she told them she would go to the car herself but not to touch her as her faith did not allow this since they were all male officers.

The reason for keeping the knife in court is unknown, but sources indicate that it is suspected that the knife was used during the trial.

The knife was large and was seized as material evidence, while the woman was escorted to the police station.
