The journey of Albanian teams in the Conference League over the past few seasons shows a balance of more difficulties than round robin success.

Of the 23 European matches played in the second, third and play-off rounds (not the first round), the clubs of the Superiore have managed to secure 8 qualifications, while they have been eliminated 15 times. In percentage, the Albanian success in these matches is 34.8%. The team that has given the best performance is Dinamo, which has secured three qualifications.

The Blues have overcome Atlètic Club d'Escaldes, pulled off a major upset over Hajduk Split, advancing after a 2-1 loss in Croatia and a 3-1 win in Tirana, and this season have eliminated NK Aluminij. Partizani have made two qualifying appearances, having made two consecutive rounds in the 2023/24 season. The Reds eliminated Atlètic Club d'Escaldes and then Valmiera, ensuring one of the best performances of Albanian clubs in Europe in recent years.

Egnatia also had a success, having passed Dinamo Minsk in the 2025/26 season, while Laçi and Teuta each qualified once. Laçi eliminated Universitatea, while Teuta overcame the disadvantage against Inter Club d'Escaldes. On the other hand, Tirana, Vllaznia and the other teams have encountered more difficulties, failing to pass any round in their recorded encounters in this period.

The 34.8% success rate shows that Albanian clubs have made some progress, but are still far from European stability. However, Dinamo's qualification against Hajduk Split and the passes against experienced European teams show that the gap with foreign opponents is no longer as large as in the past.
