The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, commented today on the election of the new Ombudsman, a post entrusted to Endri Shabani. He said in a media appearance that yesterday the last institution where the head had previously been elected by consensus was hijacked.
"Thirdly; a process installed for many years, was overturned yesterday, snatching the last institution that was half-finished, after Mrs. Ballanca had a consensus. She categorically rejected Mr. Besim Ndregjoni, Adriana Kalana. She put a big knife in such a process. Edi Rama is ready to kick everything," Berisha claimed.
