The Socialist Party Assembly meeting has begun. Prime Minister Rama, after making changes to the government, seems to have turned his attention to the party, where the focus is on its reorganization.
BalkanWeb learns that the opening speech at the meeting will be given by the Secretary General of the Socialist Party, Blendi Klosi, to be followed by the leader of the Socialist Party, Edi Rama.
It is also learned that the topic of discussions will be the work of Socialist Organizations at the national level, guidelines for the party's internal elections, as well as a detailed analysis of the performance in the 2025 parliamentary elections, as well as the focus for the next elections, those in 2027.
We recall that the socialists will reformat the internal structures from the ground up, the heads of socialist organizations and the election of new forums, an electoral process that is expected to end on June 12. This date also coincides with the 35th anniversary of the creation of the Socialist Party.
