An operation codenamed "Next" by police station number 4 has led to the arrest of a 25-year-old man in Tirana, suspected of trafficking and selling firearms.
Klodian Mustafa was arrested by the Police, who was caught in the area of "Myslym Keta" street, while driving a vehicle.
Investigators suspect that the weapons were possessed with the intention of selling to members of criminal groups.
Sources from the investigation group indicate that the 25-year-old had brought the weapons from Saranda and is suspected of selling them in the Fresku and Tufina areas of Tirana.
According to the same sources, each of the weapons is suspected to be sold for around 800 euros.
The operation was carried out by the Crime Investigation Specialists of Police Station No. 4 after several months of investigations, while investigations continue to uncover other persons involved in this criminal activity.
