The voting process for the election of the new chairman of this political force at the local level has been completed in the branch of the Democratic Party in Pogradec.
According to official data, 476 members of the Democratic Party participated in the vote. The race was between two candidates known in the structures of this political force in the city: Kasëm Galla, who led the DP branch in Pogradec during 2019–2021 and is also known as a businessman in the area, and Oligert Muçllari, the appointed leader of the branch after the primaries and an economist by profession.
The voting process began at 08:00 in the morning and took place in a calm atmosphere.
The vote count showed that Oligert Muçllari received 247 votes, while the other candidate, Kasëm Galla, received 224 votes. In this process, 6 votes were also declared invalid.
With this result, Oligert Muçllari is declared the winner and will lead the branch of the Democratic Party in Pogradec going forward.
