For a 17-year-old from Fier, June 8th turned into a nightmare. Three girls, a 20-year-old and two 15-year-olds, allegedly took her to the apartment of one of them and physically raped her. But what makes this incident even more shocking is the fact that the violence was not carried out secretly. It was filmed on a mobile phone, while the perpetrators, according to investigations, were laughing and encouraging each other.
The footage only recently came to light, once again raising the alarm about the phenomenon of bullying and violence among young people, a violence that today is not only practiced, but also requires its audience.
The teenager, accompanied by her mother, immediately reported the incident to the police. According to her testimony, she was taken against her will to the apartment where she was raped.
The father of the 17-year-old who was raped, for "With an Open Heart" by author and moderator Evis Ahmeti, has recounted the details of the incident.
"I talked to the girl, she's a little better."
That day I had a premonition and called the girl, at first she wouldn't answer the phone. I called her again and she wouldn't answer the phone, then she told me she was getting a serum at the hospital because she wasn't feeling well.
Then I called the bride and told her to go to Fier to pick up the girl. We heard about the incident from the bride's sister, who had seen the video. I work at Orikum.
The girl told me that she knew the girls through friends. They had waited for her after the course, told her they needed to clarify something, sent her home, and then what happened was what everyone saw.
In June, I was at the police station where they reported me and no action was taken.
The girl had signs of violence everywhere. Behind her ear, on her head, hair pulled out and her eyes very black. The doctors had only treated her with a serum, even though they had seen her condition.
The girl was in a hairdressing course, she dropped out of school because she was fainting at school. The doctors told us that the girl has nothing.
"Her condition is a little better, but it was very bad," he said.
