Conad Albania has reacted after the National Food Authority's announcement regarding the product Salame Galbanetto, lot L.264173, clarifying that the product in question was not on sale to consumers.
According to Conad Albania, the 3.74 kilogram quantity had been isolated in the warehouse and set for destruction five days before the announcement made by AKU.
The company raises questions about the way the institution communicated the case, as, according to it, the AKU's announcement did not reflect the fact that the product had been blocked and had never been released on the market.
Conad's reaction comes after the alarm created among consumers by the AKU announcement, which warned about the product and that there were foreign bodies in the sausage coming from Italy. According to the company, this is not a product that was on store shelves or available to consumers, as the quantity found was isolated in the warehouse and blocked for destruction.
Conad requests that the information be presented in a complete and accurate manner, noting that the NFA's communication has created a perception different from the actual situation of the product.

WATER CREATES FALSE ALARMS!
The product Salame Galbanetto – Lot L.264173 has never been on sale.
The quantity of 3.74 kg was isolated in the Conad Albania warehouse and blocked for destruction 5 days before the AKU notification.
Why did the NFA make such an alarming announcement without reflecting these facts?
THE AKU ALARMED THE PUBLIC, BUT DID NOT TELL THE PUBLIC THE WHOLE TRUTH!
