An Albanian living in Italy joined the protest in Tirana, showing that even in Italy the diaspora protests every week about the situation in Albania.
"I come from Italy. We protest every week in Italy. We must come together for this beautiful country. We come laughing, we leave crying. Even though we are exiles, Albania is our heart," she said, excitedly.
She said she had decided to protest even in the face of family opposition.
"Excuse me for being emotional. I went against my family, they will see me on TV and they will remove me. But it's okay, we will take the risk. We will march together, until the end. Until Edi Rama leaves the country," said the protester.
Referring to Prime Minister Edi Rama and former Prime Minister Sali Berisha, she declared: "Rama was in Dhërmi and he took away the music. Shame, Edi Rama! Berisha, shame!"
"We will gather until the end, we will not give up. I was born in the land of Skanderbeg. Albanian politicians ruined Albania. Even when I die, I will rest here. The diaspora is with you!", she concluded.
