Mexico defeated South Africa 2-0 in their opening match of the World Cup. Mexico coach Javier Aguirre analyzed the victory.
"It's a very big stage and it makes your legs shake a little. Then we stabilized with possession, entered the opposing area and had no problems defending. The game ended 2-0, but it could have easily been 4-0.
"The fans have the right to whistle, even though I didn't hear them. The most important thing is the three points," said Mexico coach Javier Aguirre.
