Florian Vrapi, a resident of "Dritan Hoxha" street in Tirana, reports that for years he has been facing problems with the legalization of the apartment and land where he has lived since 1991.
According to him, his family has lived for 35 years in an area that was once military land and had no registered owner, while the territory is currently included in development plans for the construction of towers.
Florian claims that during the legalization process, ALUIZNI seeks to take away 390 square meters of land from the area he has owned and used for decades.
He says he has made numerous requests and complaints to the responsible institutions to get a solution, but has not yet received a final response.
According to the citizen, the process of legalizing the building and land began in 2005 and since then the issue has remained pending.
In 2018, he also received a response from the General Directorate of ALUIZNI, regarding the requests submitted by him, but according to him, the problem has not yet been resolved.
The resident expresses concern that the delay in the process and the uncertainties over the land may be related to new construction projects in the area, where multi-story buildings are planned.
