Students marched today in Pristina Square, in protest against the first instance verdict of the Specialist Chambers in The Hague against the former leaders of the Kosovo Liberation Army.
During the protest, students conveyed messages of support to former KLA members who are in The Hague, stating that their stance towards the liberation war will not change.
"Through this message, I want to address both those who are unjustly in The Hague, and the entire democratic world. There is no court or decision that will change the way the youth of Kosovo see our liberators," said one of the participants in the protest.
At the end of their speech, the students conveyed another message to former KLA members who are facing trials in The Hague.
"You are and will always remain liberators," he said during the student protest in Pristina.
