The perpetrator of the murder of the 39-year-old woman from Kosovo is her ex-husband. According to the investigation, the 47-year-old has confessed to the murder and is in custody.
The serious crime took place in Austria. The woman was found lifeless in the garden of her home with knife and gun wounds.
39-year-old Kosovar woman Zoja Oroshi has been in constant conflict with her ex-husband. The dispute between them, as reported by the media in Kosovo, came as a result of family problems, but without giving many details.
"We can confirm that a 47-year-old Austrian citizen, originally from Kosovo, is suspected of killing his wife on April 5, 2026, in Soss, causing gunshot and knife wounds. The accused has admitted the crime and has been sent to the Wiener Neustadt Correctional Center. A detention order has already been requested. The police investigation continues, while family problems between the perpetrator and the victim are being examined as a possible motive," the official response states.
