The Municipality of Tirana will increase the distribution points for free subscriptions for pensioners. The news was announced by the acting Mayor of Tirana, Anuela Ristani, at today's meeting of the municipal council.
"The number of ticket distribution points will be increased. The service points are open almost 16 hours a day. We have increased not only the number of days when the ticket is distributed, but also the number of points. We hope that this will have a positive effect in terms of queues and load. It cannot be done with pension booklets because the ticket is a different type of documentation," declared Ristani.
Ristani stated that the Municipality of Tirana will now begin work on building a new system to address this issue in a more digital manner.
"The Municipality of Tirana is drafting the terms of reference for a new system, which will address this in a more coherent and digital way, and avoid queues for the time to come. Unfortunately, we are currently tied to a way of doing the system and we are trying to optimize it by adding distribution points," Anuela Ristani emphasized.
