Donald Trump and British Prime Minister Keir Starmer have had a telephone conversation, hours after the US president's recent criticism of Starmer.
They also discussed the situation in the Middle East and military cooperation between the UK and the US, a Downing Street spokesman said.
The focus of the talks was also "the use of RAF bases in support of the collective self-defense of partners in the region."
The British Prime Minister also shared his sincere condolences with President Trump and the American people following the deaths of six American soldiers, the spokesman added.
