The Albanian Football Federation organized a seminar dedicated to emotional intelligence at the "House of Football", with the participation of coaches of the national boys and girls teams, as well as heads of several key departments within the Albanian Football Federation.
The seminar focused on the importance of emotional intelligence in modern football, addressing topics such as managing emotions, effective communication, coping with stress, conflicts, and balancing wins and losses, which constitute essential elements for the professional development of coaches and technical staff.
The Technical Director of the Albanian Football Association, Fulvio Pea, in a statement to fshf.org, described the seminar as a special and valuable day for all participants.
"It was a special day, both for our boys' and girls' team coaches, as well as for the heads of the Goalkeeper, Fitness Coach and Video Analysis departments. A good coach must know technique and tactics, but to be successful he must know how to manage conflicts, victories and defeats, how to communicate and intervene in different situations. Today, management aspects are an essential requirement and need for every coach," said Fulvio Pea.
For her part, trainer Iris Bajo emphasized the combination of theory and practice as one of the strongest points of the seminar.
“It was very interesting how each theoretical approach was accompanied by practical examples from the participants themselves. Theoretical concepts were directly linked to their experience in sports and professional life. The element of work consumption, burnout and stress, closely linked to the daily reality of football, was also addressed. Through counseling and concrete practices, the aim was to provide tools to better cope with these challenges,” said Bajo.
This seminar is part of the vision of the Albanian Football Federation to invest in the continuous professional and human development of coaches and technical staff, considering emotional intelligence as a key component in increasing performance and long-term success in football.
